By the way, I stopped by on opening week to get an eyebrow wax! The center is really nice, kind of a spa feel.

The European Wax Center uses a four step wax process, with their own special kind of wax.

My aesthetician did a good job taming my caterpillar eyebrows (no before and after photos, though!).

It's hard to get to though.Iit's on Poplar Avenue east of St. Nick (before you get to shopping center that holds Whole Foods and the Paradiso and Mendenhall). It's directly behind a wine and spirits store. If you're traveling west on Poplar, there's a big billboard, which helps.

I got some details on a great promotion for free waxing services at the European Wax Center, which will open next month at 4856 Poplar Ave.

The deal is this: Sign up online to get your name on the list to get a call for an appointment (The list tops out at about 400!) to get a free wax. The free wax can anything from brows to a Brazilian and you can get multiple body parts waxed.

The cool thing is that the company has a policy that everyone's first wax is free, so even if you don't get a premiere wax (and even if you do), your first wax will still be free.

The difference between premiere week free wax and the first-timer free wax is that the premiere wax can be anything, whereas the first-timer wax is limited to brow, underarm or bikini for women and brown, nose or ear for men.
