So I was reading the Nashville Scene online yesterday and saw a notice about a Fashion Star casting on July 21st in Atlanta, GA.

If you don't know, Fashion Star is a unique fashion reality show where designers present pieces to potential buyers (H&M or Saks or Macys) and the buyers pick the pieces they think would be a good fit in their stores. The cool thing is that soon after the show airs, the picked pieces are available to the audience (or others) to buy.

Last season the designer who won the competition (out of the 14) won a prize of $6,000,000 in orders for capsule collections in Macy's, H&M and Saks Fifth Avenue stores.

And wouldn't it be amazing if that designer was from Memphis or the MidSouth, this season?
